Two competing forms of nazism have been at each others throats for decades now. Hitler's form was much too draconian and it was wiped out. But, nazism never died.
That system was fostered by the wealthy of Rome when they created christianity. That system has been, in varying degrees, in control ever since. (http://www.prweb.com/releases/2013/10/prweb11201273.htm)
The Catholic church championed it for centuries. The protestants managed to weaken its power and the enlightenment brought about american representative democracy. That democracy has to be destroyed for the original fascist system to seize ultimate contol.
What we're experiencing right now is a fascist-nazi coup designed to finally wipe out the America we once knew. We're headed into a new dark age if they succeed, and I personally see no way they can lose. They have the wealth and power. They will suvive no matter how many sink into gross poverty and starvation. The squalor, ignorance and oppression of the Middle Ages is returning, and the catholic church is right in there as one of the prime movers.
Frankly, I'm glad my life will soon be over, but I ache for my progeny. I'm finally thankful I have no more grandchildren than I do.

FASCISM IS CREEPING IN
Ancient Rome was the originator of fascism. The Catholic Church was patterned after the roman fascist system. Protestantism, to varying degrees, carried on aspects of fascism in their organizational setups. The Worldwide Church of God was as fascist as it's possible to get. As the christian right gains more and more power, we find ourselves in very real danger of scumbing to fascism and all its horrors.
Read this very good summary of the dangerous position the USA is in:

HOUR OF DESPAIR
It's a day of despair for me.
For decades, I've watched as the fascist-minded GOP steadily loaded the Supreme Court with right wing, equally fascist-minded so called "Justices." What a misnomer!
We sacrificed mightily to defeat fascism seven decades ago. Ever since elitist Ronald Reagan entered the White House, we've witnessed an ever increasing insane rush to impose fascism on the American people.
It's pretty well succeeded.

We only have the facade of a democracy today. I fully expect racist murderer Zimmerman will probably be acquited by our addled "justice system." I expect every vestige of true civilization, true knowledge, true benevolence to be stripped away and replaced by a faith based hell hole of hateful oppression unless something unforeseen stops it. I see only a nation of the elite and powerful imposing their opinions, their hate and their corrupt system on a mass of serfs whose complaints will be made a criminal offesnse as their rights all disappear.
We are slaves to a fascist elite of millionaires, billionaires and religion-befuddled ignoramuses. I'm sorry, grandkids. I had no idea this kind of world was coming. I'm sorry about what you will quite possibly see as the end result.
To all the fascists out there. FUCK YOU! Fuck your fascist Republican party! Fuck your stolen millions and billions! Fuck your ignorant religions! And, FUCK THE FASCIST SUPREME COURT!

OVERBLOWN? HARDLY!
Perhaps some of my readers think I was being hysterical or unbalanced when I referred to rabid religionists as "christofascists" and "theocractic fascists."
Let's look at what they themselves have said.
Jerry Falwell had this gem to offer: "I hope to see the day when, as in the early days of our country, we won't have any public schools. The churches will have taken them over again and Christians will be running them. What a happy day that will be."
That extreme statement appeared in 1979 in America Can Be Saved published by Sword of the Lord Publishers.
In 1992, Pat Robertson stated in The New World Order, "There will never be world peace until God's house and God's people are given their rightful place of leadership at the top of the world."
Gary North, writing in Political Polytheism: the Myth of Pluralism, had this to say: "The long-term goal of Christians in politics should be to gain exclusive control over the franchise. Those who refuse to submit publicly to the eternal sanctions of God by submitting to His Church's public marks of the covenant -- baptism and holy communion -- must be denied citizenship, just as they were in ancient Israel."
Randall Terry, founder of Operation Rescue, offered this gem, as reported by The News Sentinel of Fort Wayne, Indiana: "I want you to just let a wave of intolerance wash over you, I want you to let a wave of hatred wash over you. Yes, hate is good ... Our goal is a Christian nation. We have a biblical duty, we are called on by God to conquer this country. We don't want equal time. We don't want pluralism."
The statements made by Romney and Ryan in the recent campaign, though less blatant in many cases, were just as alarming. Jefferson, Franklin, Washington, Thomas Paine, etc. would have recoiled in horror if they could have heard them. I'm sure they saw the danger that a future rise in theism could present. That is probably why Benjamin Franklin replied to a questioner about the type of government they had instituted that it was a Republic, "if you can keep it."
We kept it! The danger has not disappeared!

EXTOL "LOVE" -- PRACTICE "HATE"
If you read the whole account cited in my last blog, you know exactly what I'm referring to. Theists can wax eloquent about "love" up until the moment someone dares to call into question anything about their "faith."
As soon as that happens, the fangs and claws immediately appear. All pretense of tolerance or love suddenly disappears in a flurry of denunciation, vitriol and outright hateful violence. Nothing is deemed off limits to the most extreme of these fascist-minded idealogues.
If one wants to know what the most extreme cases of human-on-human brutality happen to be, all they have to do is check the records of religiously based pogroms and holocausts. They are myriad and become especially horrific when another ideology -- politics -- enters into the picture. That's why our national founders were so insistent on separating those two dangerous mindsets.
Modern extremists set on totally controlling their neighbors and the world chafe under that wise separation provision incorporated into our Constitution and seek any and all crafty means of circumventing and nullifying it. Chief among these efforts is the seeding of the Supreme Court with "conservative" idealogues who will undermine personal liberty with ideological tyranny.
If you don't think you will be hated if you dare to reveal yourself as a non-believer, just go down to Mississippi and Alabama and publicly try to establish a secular or atheist organization. Just defend the right of a woman to terminate an unwanted pregnancy and see how fast you will be vilified and ostracized, and even murdered if you get too involved in any organization so dedicated.
Humans are good at saying one thing while emotionally practicing another. Nowhere is this more pronounced than where religious and political ideology becomes involved.
Ideology turns fanatic humans into murderous monsters!

WHAT DO YOU MEAN, REPUBLICAN?
There is no such thing as a Republican party anymore. It's a total misnomer for what is in fact the American Fascist party.
I just heard on MSNBC from Rachel Maddow that even though the courts had disallowed the Pennsylvania photo voter ID law, official Pennsylvania state websites still published the draconian rules that struck down law mandated until she and MSNBC called them on it and forced them to change what their website was stating. They were still trying to intimidate non-republican voters into not exercising their constitutional rights.
I don't care who likes my saying it. The Republican party ceased to exist a long time ago and has been replaced by a theocratic fascist party which has comandeered the name "Republican." Their stock in trade is lies, obfuscation and strong arm oppression.
Romney and Ryan are the fuhrers of that party and just as dedicated to the big lie and oppression as any European fascist ever was.

THEOCRACY ON THE MARCH
I was astounded this morning to read that a front ranking candidate for the Republican nomination for president of the USA, publicly advocated arresting what he called "activist judges." Read about it here: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/12/18/gingrich-judges_n_1156405.html.
What is truly frightening is what he singled out as examples of "activist judges." I quote: "...he singled out the 9th Circuit, once more, for determining that it was unconstitutional for public schools to require the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance and Biery for outlawing prayers in graduation ceremonies."
Now, as always, the bone of contention is the old saw about this being a Christian nation when it clearly was not established as such. The majority of the founders were Masons, Unitarians and Deists. Some were outright atheists, like Thomas Paine. The dedicated Christians were in the minority. Great pains were taken by our founders to guarantee that religion could never become state sponsored in this country.
Loud mouthed ignorant liars and prejudiced non-thinkers like Gingrich, will never be satisfied with that. They are addicts to unfounded belief and faith, and they are determined to saddle the people of this country with the stultifying fascism of blind religious dogmatism by any underhanded subterfuge and misuse of public power open to them.
Most of the citizens of Germany in 1931 never dreamed their enlightened and progressive society could, within a short year, be plunged into the fanatic abyss the Nazis brought. Most of them never dreamed how quickly and thoroughly their rights, freedoms and civilized humanity could be stripped away from them. A great number of them shrugged it all off and went blithely along with their everyday lives. A lot of Jews and other minorities did too. Let's never forget that we free, clear-thinking atheists and non-believers are also a hated minority in much of this nation. If you don't believe it, try coming out about your true beliefs in Alabama or Tennessee. You'll be lucky if you escape outright violence against your person.
I, for one, don't take such comments lightly and pooh pooh them. Gingrich is very serious. Just as serious as Robertson, Falwell and a host of others who salivate at the possibility of turning the USA into a brutal theocracy. It has been the dream of christo-fascists for generations.
I listened to the news this evening, and on the CBS network, this comment was hardly mentioned. It should have been trumpeted and condemned in the strongest terms.
I wonder why it wasn't. I think I have a clue. Do you?

EVERYTHING ENDS SOMETIME
Telling the truth as you see it sometimes costs a person. My recent blog in which I labeled the Tea Party for the ignorant, religious and fascist minded thugs they are just cost me one of my last friends from the past. He labels me the fascist, along with Obama, etc.
I know this old friend is not knowingly fascist. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body.
However, he is caught up in the Tea Party from its inception, in creationism and is absolutely dedicated to Christianity -- now, mainstream instead of Armstrongist. There is no penetrating that armor without a non-existent intellectual anti-tank rocket.
Of course, what I say is automatically dismissed as lies. He says I'm no longer the man he loved as a dear friend for about 60 years. That's for sure true.
Gone is my youthful naivete and gullibility. It is replaced by stone cold reasoning power that came by a hard route. I no longer stand in awe before a fictional god and his totally fictional supposed scriptures. I care not what any god supposedly says through some ecstatic, over-impressed-with-him-or-herself revelator. Paul, the originator of Christianity, is to me a mentally deranged con-artist.
So, I bid farewell to this longtime friend and fellow traveler. I wished him well in what remains of his life. He's several years older than I, so I'll probably be around longer. I did ask him to give my regards to the various members of the Elohim if he can locate them in this vast evolutionary creation.
